Red Carpet Inn/Elk Park Hotel

As you can tell from the photo, the Red Carpet Inn has been a place to hang one’s hat since Wyckoff was a dirt road. This building was once known as the Elk Park Hotel. Reinvented and renamed but true to its roots. While pondering its history is interesting, beware when deciding to stay at this establishment, as the first line of the first Yelp review on this spot reads: “This place is really a crappy.” That’s a direct quote. But then again, a little dirt and grime never hurt nobody. It builds character. I encourage you to read the rest of the reviews for yourself, they’re horrifying and hilarious.
